Alex Thaler currently serves as CEO of iconik. Alex is a startup founder, software engineer, and former corporate attorney. Key themes are: drive, impact, and collaboration while building and leading cross-disciplinary teams. Recently, Alex was named as one of Inicio Ventures’ rising Latinx founders to watch.
Prior to founding iconik, Alex served as Head of Security, Privacy, and Compliance at AnyRoad, an Andreessen Horowitz backed startup defining tooling and data in the experience economy for enterprise clients. Previous to AnyRoad, Alex worked at GreatSchools as a software engineer, building user interfaces and core services to support the organization’s mission of providing high quality information to support parents pursuing a great education for their child. Alex practiced in Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor’s Corporate Counseling and Litigation group, where he also served on the recruitment committee. Alex earned a BA from UC Berkeley and a JD from University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he received the M.H. Goldstein Memorial Prize for excellence in law.
