Albert B. Maggio, Jr., is the managing member of CRGO Law, a boutique law firm providing corporate, securities, and intellectual property services. Albert is admitted to practice in California, Florida, and Massachusetts and focuses on corporate, technology, and licensing transactions, with a special emphasis in the software, communications, entertainment, and mass and new media industries. He routinely represents high growth companies in debt and equity, M&A transactions, joint venture and licensing agreements, as well as corporate formation, structure, and operational matters.

Albert is a Life Member of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, an active member of its IOLTA Grants committee, and a former member of its Audit Committee. He served on the Clients’ Security Fund of the State Bar of Florida. He is a founder and former secretary of the Palm Beach Figure Skating Club, Inc. Albert served as president and a member of the board of directors of the South Florida Technology Alliance, Inc. He also served as secretary and an executive committee member of the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida, a board member and secretary of Il Circolo – The Italian Cultural Society of the Palm Beaches, and an advisory board member of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He was chair of the Business Law Section Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association, co-editor of the Business Law News of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California. Albert was vice chair of the Computers and Computer Law Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association (ABA); Planning Board Member of the ABA’s American Inns of Court Committee, member of the Boston Inn of Court, and member of the Computer Law Association.

For over 25 years, he has been an advisor to Youth Catalytics, a New England based non-profit organization that supports and advances child and youth services in communities throughout the United States. While in business school, Albert was a volunteer with the Urban Business Assistance Corporation, providing consulting services to minority-owned enterprises in New York City.

Albert is a speaker and published author who has been quoted in Business Week Online, The Boston Globe, and The Recorder (CalLaw). He was an adjunct professor of ethics and business law at Atlantic Union College and appointed as an adjunct faculty member of the School of Business at Worcester Polytechnic Institute before moving to Florida. Albert served as a founding mentor at FAU Tech Runway®,  a technology development accelerator and business incubator at Florida Atlantic University.  He received his J.D. cum laude, from New England Law | Boston, an M.B.A. from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University, and a B.S. from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
