Progressive alliances

As part of its target to divest from all coal assets by the year 2030, ACEN signed up as a supporter of the Task Force for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), towards strengthening its commitment in leading the renewable revolution. ACEN is now in a process of developing its an ambitious climate target set for 2050 with an interim target by 2040.

Multi-horizon targets

Eni has developed and disclosed a series of short-term, medium-term and long-term targets within their Just Transition report for 2020. 

Eni’s short-term target outlines 109.4 million Euros to be invested in local development. Within the medium-term this includes the time-bound quantitative target of investing 243.9 million Euros in local development by 2024. The company’s long-term target outlines contributions to the promotion of development interventions for local communities specifically through ensuring access to modern energy and quality and inclusive education for students in local communities.
